Does anyone know where I can find these two stories? I tried Google, but links to these stories are no longer working, and Wayback Machine doesn't have them either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So I was just reading what might have been and Ring of fire by Keira Marcos and wanted to read other stories that have either Rodney or John discovering they have a child on earth... Relationships don't bother me. The only other thing I would prefer is that the child lives with his newly found father.... I have had a look but keywords are important and I haven't found any yet.

Sheppard recalled to Earth and held there

Hello,
I have been searching for a fic for the last few days and would love some help finding it as I have been unable to find it on my own. What I remember about the fic is that Sheppard is recalled back to Earth and then held there by either the SGC or IOA, I'm not sure which or it may even be another faction. McKay/those on Atlantis have to rescue him. I can't remember if they are holding Sheppard as leverage against those on Atlantis for something or if they are holding him for some perceived crime/charges. It has been a long time since I read it and the details are kind of hazy. I know it isn't a lot to go on, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jack mentally centering himself

I vaguely remember reading a story that I'm going to have difficulty explaining. I think it used Jack as a POW to explain his actions. I don't really remember what sets him off each time. I think he has a padlocked shed in his backyard or maybe it's a room in his basement. Before he goes to do something he really doesn't want to do, he goes to the shed or room. Inside it's pitch black and has a cement floor. He sits naked on the floor getting himself into the head space he needs. I think he makes do with other facilities when he's away from home. That's pretty much all I remember and it's been years since I read it. The majority of what I read is slash so it's highly probable it was a Jack/Daniel fic. I hate unhappy endings so if there were any kind of death fic warning I most likely wouldn't have read it. I've searched for this story periodically over the years with no luck. Does anyone recognize it?

I was talking to a friend about a story where John & Rodney take a puddlejumper to do a test, but something goes wrong and they get stranded on a planet for a long time before the manage to get home.

Too Many Children

I was poking around looking for more stories where John Sheppard is recalled to earth and for some reason it pinged a memory of a story where he comes back to Atlantis (after captivity or other MIA/presumed KIA situation) only to find that there is a generation of his biological children resulting from artificial insemination. The only thing I remember for sure is that one of them was born to Laura Cadman, who had been in a relationship with Rodney but McKay was, at the time John came back, raising that child alone.

I suspect the story is at AO3, Wraithbait, or on Live Journal, although it might be on another archive. Unlikely t's on FFN, though.

ETA I seem also to remember a scene where Sheppard walks into the messhall and the tables are filled with kids who are obviously his: they all stop talking and stare at him and he freaks out.

Looking for a McShep story

I'm looking for a story I read some time ago. In it, John has created a secret group, made up of ex military, that's hiding out on a secret base on an island. John is looking for someone who can hack into somewhere - I can't remember what. So he sets up a target that potential interviewees have to hack into successfully to get an interview. Enter Rodney, who not only manages to do it, but also has info he hacked from John's systems on his whereabouts set up to go to the authorities if he doesn't survive his 'interview'. Can't remember the rest of the details but they fall for each other, and both of them hate the SGA, I think, or another government agency that screwed them over. They're basically public enemy #1, but if I remember right, they weren't evil, it was more revenge for wrongdoing against them. And I remember that at one point, they have to rescue Rodney because he gets captured.

Not much to go on, I know, but if anyone knows the story I'm looking for, I'd be very grateful for a link. Thanks!

All I remember about this is John and Rodneys daughter is messing around with the gate and accidentally dials Earth. Sam Carter answers and is shocked.She is possibly playing with a little brother.

Another cutting method utilizing CNC machines is oxy-fuel, using fuel gases and oxygen, which dates back about 100 years. Here, a stream of oxygen is blasted onto a metal heated to kindling temperature, turning it into a flowing metal oxide.
With plasma cutting, a plasma torch blows an inert gas at high speeds out of a nozzle, essentially through a created electrical arc, which turns some of that gas to plasma.
While all of these options remain widely used today, CNC plasma cutting machines are typically seen as a solution for manufacturers who are concerned with quickly and efficiently cutting conductive materials up to 3″ thick. The plasma cutting process has superior cutting speeds and piercing speeds, and generates very precise cut qualities. More speed and higher quality also produces superior efficiency and productivity.

Are there special considerations for making glass parts?

Yes. Dual pressure piercing allows for piercing of glass with minimal risk of cracking. APW Machines could work with low-pressure piercing to slowly raise the pump pressure during the pierce to avoid a sudden shock to the material by a rapid change in pressure. Using these techniques reduces the risk of cracking, making glass cutting into a very profitable venture.

Hello again, you amazing story finders! I have yet another request, if you please.

Between re-watching the series and reading a few recently-requested stories, I was reminded of the one where McKay is a tiger shifter, and on a mission is accidentally bound to Sheppard, who grabbed the back of his neck to push him to the ground when they're being attacked. It basically goes throughout the series with that alternate 'verse, with things like Rodney freaking out when John goes along with Chaya, and Lucius puts an outlawed collar on Rodney to force him to remain a tiger and be docile.

I know this one wasn't finished, but I'd still like to read it again

Rodney is married to Katie Brown and they have a couple of kids. Rodney is straight but is forced to work with John and to give into his sexual demands without question. Rodney is desperate to keep the sexual aspect of this from Katie and does what John asks. I remember Rodney and his family were at the zoo when John turned up unexpectedly so Rodney was forced to introduce him to his wife.

I hope this rings a bell with someone.

there was three stories their titles start with forced.the 3rd was about their honeymoon in Hawaii and they had torron with them. In the first one the team go to Rodney's sisters house with john in a wheelchair then later they go to Davids house.

John/Rodney back on Earth "I love him" FOUND

I am getting back to fannish roots, here.

There was a McShep story that had been podficced.

John and Rodney were back on Earth. Atlantis's existence had been revealed and there was a book of interviews of the Atlantis personnel in a bookstore. John realized that he had said, "I love him" in regard to Rodney in his interview and was freaking out about it.

I don't recall whether or not they were sleeping together at the time.

I believe there was a visit from John's ex-wife in the story. It was not Nancy, as that episode hadn't aired yet. It was written after "Sunday" because I believe reference was made to John telling Ronon about his ex.

I vaguely remember that Zelinka's interview made reference to the Atlanteans watching "Firefly"

I am looking for 2 stories that i read years ago.
The only part i can remember of one is the team is on a planet and is asked by the natives to tell a story. Rodney tells a story of Beethoven's 9th symphony.
The other fic is the team discovers a planet where the natives are protected from the wraith because they build ships for them.

He is in antartica as the fic begins and wears glasses but not with the expedition. He and some scientists he is with accidentally find an alien that kills some of them. John and O'Neil come to the rescue. The alien ship Rodney finds has some sort of processing humas into food place that an alien takes rodney to. Any one know where I can find this?
