Mcshep, taking Atlantis back to pegasus

There's a fic out there, in which Atlantis has been on earth for a while, JOhn has been on Atlantis, but Rodney has not. Rodney comes back, right before they're supposed to leave, and JOhn sees him and hugs him in the gate room. Then there's some distance between then, misunderstandings and the like, and later, close to the resolution of the fic, Rodney mentions the hug and how he thought it meant something, but then they were not talking and maybe he was wrong, but John is all, "you weren't wrong" and they kiss and live happily ever after in Pegasus.

What is this story?!?! Is it NOT Up One Day and Down the Next by Chandri, just finished that one, thinking it was the one. NOt so.

Desperate pining John

This fic has been on my mind latley, little bits of it keep popping up in my head but all my searches are turning up nada! I hope someone can help!

All I can remeber is that John is more into it (the relationship) than Rodney (I think Rodney is mostly in it for the sex) this is a lot of fics but what some things that I kep remembering are that one of the first times if not first times they have sex John is wearing his socks and berates himself in his head about it. He keeps telling himself it's not important and he wants to keep the relationship on the DL, and not give it a name so when it ends he doesn't have to be pitied. I think near the end he kinds sneak moves into Rodneys head quarters just to have Rodney later invite him to move in. And Rodney says something like "you just wanted to be with me that badly." And it ends with John telling Rodney he has everything he needs (at least metephorically).

If someone can help me out that would be great!

Hi, again! The only part of this fic I remember is Keller's mistreatment of John, as his doctor. It may have even been criminal, though I can't exacly remember how, except it was motivated by jealousy and she was found out towards the end. It's one from my early fic days when I never entertained using bookmarks. Silly me. I enjoy the Keller McKay Sheppard triangle - ending McShep though. :) Help?

McShep AU: breaker-in!John locked in a room by breaked-in-upon!Rodney... I think?

I could have sworn I'd read a McShep fic ages ago (read: more than 5 years, think closer to 10?) in which, for reasons I cannot recall, John tries to break into Rodney's place (house? building?) except Rodney catches him in way I don't remember, and locks him in a room for a while. I'm pretty sure it was from John's POV, as the story didn't move outside the room, much. The room has a bed and stuff, and John basically waits around for Rodney to come down(? in?) to talk with him, which Rodney keeps doing it every day or more for reasons I don't recall (probably because he finds John funny and everyone else is an idiot, which would be the usual reason ;) ) and while John keeps asking to be let go, Rodney keeps refusing to the point where John doesn't even mind it so much anymore because Rodney is not bad company, except for the whole being-locked-up thing. (I think. My memory is very hazy.) This goes on until something outside John's room is about to go down - folks coming to hurt Rodney? steal stuff? no clue - and Rodney comes in to say bye or something, except somehow they end up having sex - they were probably flirting before so it's not as sudden as I make it sound - and when John wakes up in bed after, Rodney's gone and his room is unlocked/his door is open. And... I can't remember anything except I presume it's John to the rescue! and happy McShep ending.

I did look on the Giant McShep AU List but none of the thief!AUs rang a bell or looked right, and I can't remember if John was even a thief or breaking in/trespassing for other reasons.

Help reassuring me I'm not crazy would be golden ♥ (I'm hoping I got the right fandom, as around then the only other even remotely fitting would have been the Sentinel, and that just doesn't mesh. But I'll include my uncertainty anyway, so folks aren't deceived into looking for an nonexistent fic if I'm wrong.)

ETA: Found (mostly): The Hostage Major by Frostfire, found by endof_thyme has most of it except the ending of captivity is different, but the majority fits my memory, yay! I might be mixing the rest up with Absolute Corruption by seikaitsukimizu, suggested by texanfan, though I haven't (re)read that one yet to make sure.

Hi! I remember reading a fic where everyone but John is leaving Atlantis for the holidays (he wanted to do pranks but Rodney is going with Keller to Wisconsin, Ronon with Amelia to her parents, and Teyla to the Athosians for Torren to celebrate he people's customs). They leave and there is a disaster off world (mudslides??). Sheppard goes to help but takes a jumper into some caves looking for people and gets trapped by mud in the front (but is able to close the doors so the other people in the jumper are just cold and trapped but not buried in mud like he is. In the end, the team comes back because they heard he was in trouble.

Been looking for 3 weeks. Help please!!

Long mcshep fic (found)

Hello,
I search a long fic (mcshep) where they have to left Atlantis and before John and McKay come through the stargate it doesn't work anymore, Weir, Teyla etc think that John and Rodney die trying to save the others.
But they survive with a jumper i think and beat the wraiths, eventually they come back to Earth but years later.
They become lovers.
I remember them living in a group of caves behind a waterfall "adopting" strays people along the way.
Ring a bell ?

Hi.
I'm looking for a fic I read years ago.
What I remember:
Mcshep, Rodney left Atlantis with the Daedalus due to everyone, himself included, thinking John and Ronon beat him up because om him being gay.
Later it turned out, that Rodney had been infected with some alien virus causing him to try and jump John.

I remember that (I think they were arrows) were poisoned or something. Rodney got nicked or hit in the leg and kept whining about it. Sheppard got hit in the shoulder but hid the broken part under his jacket. When Ronon got there with the rescue team he was really mad because McKay didn't notice.

Trying to locate a multichapter WIP story situated in a universe where mutants do exist. In most of the world they're treated like normal people, but the USA has a oppressive government who kills the dangerous mutants and conscript the useful/controllable ones (they're basically conditioned to be loyal to the government). At least O'Neill, Sheppard, Beckett and McKay are mutants, O'Neill managed to hide his powers and remain free even being military, Beckett and McKay are safe because they're not americans but Sheppard receives all the blunt of the prejudice (Sumner and Bates are especially agressive), turned worse because he's a empath and receives all the negative emotions around him. I remember the story stopping in a point where they're doing a second attempt to reach Atlantis, this time with a spaceship, because when they tried through the stargate, the wormhole closed soon Sumner stepped in and is considered dead.

I'm looking for a fic which is set earthside. The city of Atlantis is anchored in San Francisco Bay. John is held prisoner somewhere nearby and tortured because the bad guys (some sort of government agency) want to make him their human weapon. Rodney finds out and sets about freeing John, mostly all by himself. They then hide on a boat which Rodney bought from an ex-soldier, who ends up helping them. I think they leave earth permanently in the end - not sure if with or without Atlantis.

Hi! I'm looking for a fic I read weeks ago but for the life of me can't remember what it's called or who wrote it. If I remember right the premise was that John and Rodney were changed somehow? I remember that both of them were put into isolation together and that John was excessively hot and Rodney freezing; when they touched each other this balanced out but not touching caused physical pain. John was also very protective and Rodney seemed quite passive? If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful! Thank you :)

I am looking for a story, don't remember the title or author (naturally). Rodney, John and Carson were held by the Genii(?). Rodney has some kind of mutation and can manipulate metal. I though it was part of pickingupellen's Flight of Icarus, but this bit doesn't seem to be there. Any ideas?

hey guys

so i'm looking 4 a sentinent Atlantis fic where when they deal in atlantis scans them and initially only lets the natural genecarriers through some kind of shield but when Rodney comes through she detects johns DNA cause they had sex be4 and atlantis does a more throurough scan and then lets the recessive genecarriers through too and those that r "mated" 2 one of the carriers (i think radek and miko were together)

then she sends everyone else back 2 earth and on earth they were supriesed cause @ 1st no communication came through and the first they new smth was wrong was when the wormhole closed b4 o'neill could send that big bottle of champagnie through.
also i thing they lost 5 people due 2 the iris b4 a IDC was transmittet.

weir tries 2 come with the dedalus (maybee even Prometheus) but atlantis doesn't allow her to stay on the city and she has to live on the mainland

i know i have int on my bookmarks but none of the ones of my sentient atlantis tab were it so i think its one of the authors i like but there are over 100 of those in my tabs so i'm hoping u guys can help

Hi, again! Does anyone recall a fic with John possessed/taken by a goauld? I actually bookmarked it, but the link no longer works! I remember him being taken on earth and when he sat in the chair on Atlantis it recognized the wrongness and forced the goauld out of John's mouth. I remember everyone horrified at realizing it, and John crying on Teyla after being freed after so long. There was a fairly long, angsty recovery and Rodney being mortified/appalled because he and John started a relationship and he wasn't sure if it was with John's consent or not. A real heartbreaker. I hope it's still available! Thank you :)

Hello, i would love some help please.

Fic #1

In this one the only think that i remember is that the genii or another people took Atlantis and the earth people are prisonners.
I remember some of the people from Earth coming to Atlantis with ruse, hidden in some crates for free the earth people.

Fic #2

John and others have abilities, supernatural things i guess.
John doesn't like to be touched and touch people, he's affraid to hurt them.
I remember him always dressed head to toes, even wearing gloves.

rodney missing/ living alone on a planet --> found

so there was this fic where rodney was culled (apparently the author inventet a new kind of wraithcraft cause they tried to feed on him while going through the gate) but they crashlandet and the wraith were killed (or at least thats what rodney thought @ 1st)

anyway rodney was living entirely alone on this planet (the population was culled to extinction) 4 close 2 a year and evry1 on atlantis thought he was dead.
he figures out how to make bread and creates a shower and starts to go 4 runs (i think later in the fic hes naked while running)

the others find him cause they have a mission 2 that planet and dont find anything but as theyr leaving jon notices something nexgt to the DHD (rodney couldnt dial home cause his IDC device was broken) and runs back over a hill 2 find him and in the end almost doesnt recognise him.

i think its from sardonicsmiley but i cant find it so i might b wrong

The team goes to a planet, where a village immediately recruits Rodney in a ceremony where he has to kiss all of the eligible women in the community.  John feels oddly jealous.  Other stuff happens, but it's the kissing ceremony that stands out in my mind.  It's an oldie; I'm guessing 2009 or earlier.  Thanks in advance :-)

Looking for fic where Sheppard is shot off world. At first he tries to hide it, then decides to tell Teyla. The team is trapped and can't get back to gate. While Sheppard is unconscious Beckett comes to him in a dream and tells him the team has to remove bullett or he will die.

I can't believe I can't find this with all these details, but Google is failing me. I know you guys know this one.

Hi, all I remember is that John is supposed be getting married to a woman on Atlantis..Its almost like the day of the wedding when he realizes he loves Rodney.. I do not remember if they were together before and had broken up or this is them finally admitting their feelings.. I think there was a bachelor party the night before and they flirted or did more... Either way ends as McShep and the bride comes around at the end... Thanks in advance....

In this story Earth and Atlantis have been cut off for a fairly long period of time, with no communications. A young child on Atlantis is precocious and one day secretly manages to reach the dial about which she is curious. She accidentally contacts Earth. Can anyone remember this story? Thanks in advance.
