I'm looking for a fic that I read a long time ago in whom rodney become again primitive because of an alien's device I think, he succeeded in escaping from the infirmary and to escape the soldiers which seeks it and even if John is anxious it is proud that even in its state rodney is more intelligent than all everybody and manages to escape its men.
I also remember that he learns very quickly if he sees somebody doing something like using a transporter and I am almost sure that it was mcshep.
