I'm looking for a fic where Rodney is creating a doll for his niece as a way to connect with her - he requests creation of the doll as part of his contract with an external company. This was set when he's on earth working at the SGC, and one of the soldiers he works with had a sister who died and I think had a daughter, so he gets a doll created for her too - something like that.
