The story as I remember is like this: Rodney starts to manifest the same mental abilities that he had in Tao of Rodney (telekinesis, reading minds, etc), and he's worried that he might ascend again, but it hides from John and the others what is happening to him...I clearly remember a scene that he saves John live by re-directing with the power of his mind the arrow that will kill John by hitting him in the heart...later he tells John what is happening, and Rodney goes to the infirmary were is confirmed that is brain is expanding but gradually and we will not ascend just have mental abilities, and John thinks Rodney's new powers are cool...John and Rodney end up together cause is a slash fix.
