mcshep fic, ancient technology, virtual reality

Okay, so I'm looking for a fic where John and Rodney discover this ancient device in an unused room in the city where if you step on it, it shows you what John believes to be a fantasy world of what the person using it wants most. And what John wants most is a domestic life with Rodney, so that's what he sees, like them retiring to earth and maybe adopting kids or something idk. And he knows he's just torturing himself, but since he's pining!John, he keeps going back. And then he ends up finding out eventually that it's not a fantasy device, it's a future-telling device and all that stuff is going to happen.
