So here goes- I think I asked for this story to be found once before. This happened with another story (I'm sensing a disorganizational trend I fear) and a very kind person out there told me to move my cursor over my name and all previous requests I made would pop-up. Whoever told me this is probably cringing, as I apparently am remembering the directions wrong as I am darned if I can find any of my previous posts! All that is to explain why I am doing it again with another story.
I remember the title had something to do with a term referring to decreasing circles. In the story (mcshep), John and Rodney get exposed to something in a temple on a planet that makes them need to be near each other. They need to be increasingly closer or experience great pain. They go back to the planet and find out they must have sex or die. It was something historically used to bring enemies together. Once back in Atlantis John is angry with Rodney for having been the receiver even though he offered. I've tried googling and filtering sites with various circular words but keep coming up empty. This is making me crazy! Also, any additional directions on how to see my own previous posts would be appreciated as I fear this is incredibly likely to happen again- an aging brain is annoying!
