I found mention of this one in another story and would like to read it.
John and Rodney go alone to check out an outpost on an uninhabited planet. They take a jumper. Upon arrival they discover that planet is inhabited. John is shot while trying to get Rodney back to the jumper. Rodney must deal with John's serious injuries and get them home.
