There is a particular Sheppard/McKay story I've been craving for a re-read for the last couple days and I cannot for the life of me remember the title to even begin looking in my bookmarks.
I believe it's post-EATG, and it starts out as McKay/Keller. Other details: John gets a huge comfortable bed finally. DADT is repealed and John tells Rodney first that he's gay because he is John's best friend. I think Rodney tells him that he's honored to be trusted with that. Jennifer is totally jealous of John and she and Rodney have a fight about their friendship and he crashes John's date with a nurse and stays the night on the couch. The next day he finds out that Jennifer broke up with him. At some point, Rodney starts sleeping (platonically) in John's bed and they wake up one morning to Lorne in the bedroom because of some problem with equipment. The story eventually ends up becoming Sheppard/McKay.
