I'm looking for an AU McShepp fic that occurs before they leave for Atlantis.
John and Rodney are married. Elizabeth wants John and calls Rodney into a meeting and threatens Rodney that if he doesn't leave John she'll remove Rod from the expedition. By some conquidence Rod has a meeting with General O'Neill afterwords. Later Weir calls him back and demands to know what he's done because she's being removed from the expedition. Rodney reminds her of their conversation and tells her about his meetings with General O'Neill and she's horrifed to learn that O'Neal asked if she could be trusted and Rodney said no. When she wanted to know why he reminded her that she wanted to sleep with his husband. Which was when John comes in and asks about that having overheard, John then looks her up and down and says notwith a ten foot pole lady. Then as they leave John tells her that when sge tries something and everything is falling down around her to remember that she messed with the Sheppard’s and that YES, they are those Sheppard’s.
