I've been searching for months already for a specific wump fic, that blew my mind reading.
What I still remember:
Team fic, gen
The Team is off-world, being chased by the natives for some reason. They shoot an arrow-type-thing at Rodney, John steps into its path and gets hit by it.
They find a cave and hide in it. John is in immense pain, but they can't get the arrow out. It pumps some weird blue liquid into him. This goes on for quite a while, the pain ever increasing. Ronon has to cover John's mouth at times to muffle his screaming, so they aren't found
In the end, the blue liquid does something to John's body or his genes, which the natives anticipated. I think they stand in a forrest and he starts glowing or something.
