I'm looking for a fic I read forever ago where Ronon wanted to feel more useful and asked Mckay to teach him how to science. Mckay taught him lots of stuff about Ancient technology. I don't rememer a lot about it but I think there was a scene where the jumper crashed and Mckay asked for Ronon to help him fix it and the rest of the team were surprised he knew so much about the jumper systems. I think while Ronon was learning science from Rodney, Teyla learned first aid from Carson to feel useful too.
It might have actually been Teyla who was learning the science and Ronon the first aid... it's been a while since I read it, lol.
It wasn't the one where Ronon has to marry Mckay to stay in Atlantis. I know Rodney teaches Ronon some science in that one, and people are surpised by how much he knows, but this fic I'm looking for isn't slash.
