I've been re-watching SGA and I got to McKay and Mrs. Miller, at which point I recalled a fic where the McKay of standard universe went back to the universe of the AU Rod McKay.

....Yep. That's it. That's all I remember, although it's possible that the standard universe team found a way to march themselves over and get him back. Maybe?
