- Rodney is younger than the other members of the Expedition and he was already in Pegasus when they arrived.
- Rodney was brought to Pegasus by members of the Trust/NID who either kidnapped him or got him out of foster care.
- Rodney's group came to Pegasus because they were tyring to escape justice on Earth.
- Teyla may have been helping Rodney out before the Expedition arrived. She also may had tried to convince Rodney to live on Athos but with no luck.
- Rodney was the only survivor of his group. A couple of the Trust/NID members were killed by a Wraith that was living in the city.
- I think at some point, the Expedition went back to Earth and while there Rodney brought things he needed/wanted like clothes and DVDs.
